When Dad was a little boy, he would watch planes training
in the skies above their home along the coast of Nova Scotia.
He loved to draw and he still has a book of war planes that he made.

Sunday's Photograph | Untitled
Eliza chose a class in Fine Arts this fall.
It's her first time with sculptures and the
photo shows the early stage of her first piece.
Looking at her own, she made the woman's hand and man's hand.
I knew she was a talented artist with mediums such as paint and chalk,
but when I saw the photo and video, I caught my breath.
I thought "It's beyond talent. Our Eliza has been given a gift."

Celebrate | HTHS Awards Assembly
I received sweet texts about Eliza from Carolyn who was at the Harrison Trimble Awards Assembly.
Eliza received the Volleyball MVP Award.
She also received the Art Award.

Sunday's Photograph | High School Seniors Exhibit
Along with other seniors from Southeastern New Brunswick,
Eliza had their artwork displayed at the Moncton City Hall Gallery.

Eliza recently finished art pieces for her grade 11 Visual Arts class.

When Eliza was looking at a photo and working on her
Clooney piece, she said, "Ugh! It's so hard to do all his wrinkles!"
I replied, "Eliza, no one notices wrinkles on George Clooney."
Well, no one my age does!

After using the computer, Eliza left behind a few papers.
I noticed this creation which she made with a Sharpie and a lined sticky note.
