supper the next day with dear coworkers connecting again
a trip to Prince Edward Island with Jim and Pearl
Pearl and I tagged along with Jim who had ACAA basketball in Charlottetown. While Jim was out for the evening, we enjoyed a lovely hotel room with no house work or school work with pizza delivery, a basketball game online, and an episode of Blue Bloods. In the morning, I met a friend for breakfast. We visited the Mission Thrift Store and stopped at a sweet little shop in Victoria-by-the-Sea. Then we headed to home-sweet-home.

Counting Blessings
On May 30th, Eliza graduated from Dalhousie University.
Our hearts were overflowing with joy and pride!
Eliza worked so hard and received Sexton Distinction,
along with the Portfolio Award and the
New Brunswick Architects Association Scholarship.
She is presently in the Masters program.
We are grateful for God's love and guidance in her life.
To try to capture the day, I made a reel.

Another package arrived!
My friend, Christine, sent a book to Pearl and my class.
How kind and generous! We are grateful and enjoying it so much.
The book, "Dog Saves Duck", is a true story about a sweet friendship.

Counting Blessings
For Yada, my bible study group, we are reading the book, Gracelaced.
With Ephesians 1:11-12, Ruth Chou Simons wrote:
Describe a time when God's ways in working "all things according to the counsel of his will" ultimately brought good in your life to the "praise of his glory".
In my journal, one of the things I jotted down was our children going to university.
There was a time when I wondered how they would ever go. But God has made a way.
In May, Eliza will be graduating with her undergrad degree in architecture.
Annie is now in grad school studying to be an audiologist.
A few weeks ago, Ethan, who is in his third year, was accepted into the education program at Crandall.
God is good.
