I just added Wordle to my muted words list on Twitter.
I love playing the game, but I'm just not interested in everyone's daily results.
(Did you know there is a game called Quordle? I may like it more! You try to find 4 words instead of just one. Along with a daily puzzle, there are practice puzzles so you can keep on playing.)
(There is also a game called Nerdle that Eliza and Annie enjoy. Rather than a word, it's a number equation that you try to figure out.)

A couple weeks ago, I mentioned wanting to learn more about Spanish to help communicate with two of my little friends in kindergarten. Annie suggested the app, Duolingo. I use the free version and it's excellent!

As I held the door for Pearl to come outside with me, I realized she wasn't with me.
I went back down the stairs.
I looked down the hall.
I walked back to the classroom.
I looked in the window and there she was waiting.
I had closed the door before she joined me.
I hadn't noticed.

I'm thankful for the beautiful friendships Annie has at Beulah. They are around 50 years older than her and she has to work to keep up with them. She is always finding a way to get there, even for a day - to walk, play pickle ball, go to church, help build something, and more.

Yesterday Eliza received a letter congratulating her for being on the Sexton Scholar List at Dalhousie University. Students in the Faculty of Architecture and Planning who have taken a full course load and achieved a high GPA are placed on this list.
Bravo, Eliza! What an exciting start!

My childhood peanut butter stopped being available in Canada five ago and we can only get it through my cousin in Maine.
Yes, I know there are other peanut butter makers.
But all peanut butter does not taste the same.
