Celebrate | Visual Arts Class

Eliza recently finished art pieces for her grade 11 Visual Arts class.

Self Portrait
Watercolor

Vic Vicini
Oil Paint

George Clooney
Pastels

When Eliza was looking at a photo and working on her
Clooney piece, she said, "Ugh! It's so hard to do all his wrinkles!"
I replied, "Eliza, no one notices wrinkles on George Clooney."
Well, no one my age does!

  2. And that is the truth about wrinkles on Clooney. All the work is so powerful and beautiful that I would like to include Eliza's self-portrait as an example of #StuVoice and art on my spring gallery, Springsations. If that is okay please let me know. Invite: http://beyondliteracylink.blogspot.com/2017/04/invitation-to-springsations.html. I will need full name unless you want only first name.

  3. Wow! Her work is beautiful. I love the Vic Vicini. Painting is a medium that is absolutely foreign to me. You're right - people of a certain age don't notice George's wrinkles. He may get a few more now that he's the father of twins!
