Patti has been buying secondhand furniture to add the comforts of home to her kindergarten classroom. On Marketplace, she noticed a couple of chairs. They looked familiar and she asked the seller if they could send a picture of what was underneath the seat. There she saw her father's stamp.
Twenty-five years ago, he had made chairs for her home daycare. When she became a kindergarten teacher, Patti gave everything to another daycare. The chairs changed hands a few times and then made their way back to her.
