Starting the week with two snow days made some glitches for the Holiday Gift Mart. We lost our prep day, and had to move the actual event from Tuesday to Wednesday. It meant less parent volunteers and juggling a different school schedule. But it came together and the students were so excited about shopping for their parents!
A large part of what made it run smooth that morning was having Annie and Eliza join me at 7 am to help set up the tables. And then three of Eliza's friends, who were home for the holidays, came to help wrap gifts! What a blessing!
I'm thankful for all the giving that made this morning possible for our students. The list is long!
