Slice of Life | Internet Searches

Years ago, I remember a wise friend saying she learned to not look up health concerns on the internet. It can show the worst and cause fear. When Jim was told he had cancer and that it was ocular melanoma, I never looked it up. I knew Jim was in God's hands and I chose to only read what was given to us by the Princess Margaret Cancer Center. It's been four years now. Over the weekend, I clicked the hashtag for #ocularmelonama on Instagram and I'm grateful I did not look at what was out there in the early days.
