At a stop sign tonight, I thought (again) about something a friend told me.
When waiting a long time to turn onto a road, her mom would say, "No one's waited all night!"
Those words stuck with me.
So often we feel rushed, especially if there is a car behind us, but we always get on the road eventually.
No one's waited all night.
What a great lesson! I feel like I'm always in a rush, but I need to remember that everything works out.
ReplyDeleteOh, so true. Everyone is always in a hurry that stopping has now become slow rolling. Many are impatient. But these words hold true: No one has waited all night.
ReplyDeleteWhat great words to remember when I am stuck in rush hour traffic, Loralee.
