Counting Blessings
picking Ethan and Eliza up after school and having them with me for the drive home
finding soccer cleats with Rosita for boys living in the Agape Home in Haiti
seeing Annie walk through the door
getting warmed up by a wood stove
seeing my students dressed up as 100-year-olds
listening to Ethan play the guitar
visiting with Mom and Dad on the way home from soccer
I love that you are naming your blessings! And that giving is among them!
ReplyDeleteCounting blessings helps us to stay focused on what is really important in life. Thanks for the slice.

ReplyDeleteThe first graders in my building always dress up as 100 year-olds too. Cutest thing ever. I love it.

I try to keep a gratitude journal, but I don't always remember to write in it each night. Counting blessings helps to keep a positive attitude. Thanks for reminding me to write them down.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments, Folks.
ReplyDeleteBlessings abound! Thank you for the reminder. I'm headed to a new church today and I'm going to observe like you did last week. Thanks for the inspiration. Stay tuned!
ReplyDeleteI had forgotten that your son's name is Ethan, as is mine! And I did not know he plays the guitar, as does mine! Sundays are such a great day to count those blessings.
