On September 22nd, 1956, the day Mom turned 21,
my parents were married in a little country church.
Sixty years later, Dad still talks about her
like they were married yesterday.
Our family has so much to be thankful for.

Finding joy in the little and big moments of life!
That is a very special thing to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteThanks for being here, Linda.
DeleteLovely moment to celebrate. The picture makes me wonder if any women were there? Odd how none of them are sitting on the aisle to get a better look at the beautiful bride. Hmmm...
ReplyDeleteSmiling!
DeleteI noticed that too...I think gentleman at that time would be sure to always sit on the outside...Must ask Mom.
Love this pic and your reflection of your dad's love for your mom - such a gift at sixty years!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Ramona. I love that they are still crazy about each other.
DeleteDeep and beautiful celebration.
ReplyDeleteThank you for seeing it, Terje.
DeleteWhat a wonderful blessing to have such a love.
ReplyDeleteVery.
DeleteThank you, Crystal.
