I spent the 4th of July buying a new washer and dryer!! My broken washer and dryer allowed me to experience life at the laundry mat for a while and finally yesterday we had time to go pick out a new pair. Hang in there. It all keeps up humble!
Loralee, you have brought to our attention one of those facts of lives woes that intersect our days. My microwave has had the blues for about two years now. We have been without it more than with it.
Yesterday evening I went to put the last load of laundry in the dryer. I pressed the button and nothing happened. Did I mention that we were leaving in less than 24 hours for holiday? I did the only thing I could think of, wiggle the plug and pray. Yea, it worked.
I have been without a washer. Happier times there were. Good luck.
L, too funny. I hope the washday blues end soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bernadette! I was laughing when I wrote this short post with deep meaning! :0)

ReplyDeleteOh Sally, it does! Unfortunately, I've been a little grumpy too! :0)
DeleteIt does give you pause to think about people who regularly have to travel to the laundromat. It is such a luxury to do laundry in your own home.
ReplyDeleteSo true, Adrienne! So true! I have thought about them a lot! It is a luxury and a blessing to do laundry at home!

ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how a picture can say so much! I love your humor and good luck with the next washer!

Hoping that the washer comes back to life soon. It's something you really miss when it's not working.
ReplyDeleteA happier time! 😂
ReplyDeleteThanks for understanding and for catching my humor! :0)
