Some thoughts about professional development meetings -
- My least favorite thing to do is an ice breaker or activity where we have to make or build something together (and then present it).
- I'm always thankful for the person who is comfortable speaking for the group.
- As someone who has bought many of her own teaching books, I appreciate how there are more book studies now and we are given the book. What a gift!
- Our district is mindful of what our teachers need --- asking them and finding ways to help.
- While I like catching up or meeting new people, I've really enjoyed attending meetings from the comforts of my classroom or home during the pandemic.
