When I ask, "Can I clean for you?"
Her response usually goes like this,
"As long as I can do it, I'm not going to sit and watch someone else clean my house."
The other day she dropped a wooden tv tray on her foot while cleaning. She put some ice cubes in her sock and went on with her day.
Mom is 85 and determined.
This is very much what my grandmother is like. I hope your mom is okay!
