During our morning time, Mr. Pirie mentioned that he went home to see his dad.
One of the students was astonished and said, "YOU have a dad?"
I interjected with, "Remember how
even I have a dad?"
We talked about how grown-ups still have parents. We just need them in different ways.
One little boy then chimed in and said, "Yeah, to bum money off them!"
Mr. Pirie and I looked at each other and laughed!
