While looking through one of Dad's scrapbooks from when he was travelling as a song evangelist, I discovered this photograph of Karrilee with Mom and Dad. They think it would have been sometime after Uncle Harry and Aunt Gloria's fall wedding in 1965 as Karrilee is wearing her flower girl dress. Baby Laureen is not with them in the photo. It was an earth-shattering, heart-wrenching time for our parents after August 24, 1965. My mind goes to the lines of a song they sang over the years...
We've come this far by faith, leaning on the Lord:
