Earlier this week, Eliza and five other NB athletes were invited to meet with New Brunswick Premier Brian Gallant to talk about the upcoming Canada Games. He was kind and friendly, asking them about their sport and how they were feeling about competing at the Games soon.
Later, a friend jokingly commented that he looked more excited than her in the photo. Eliza's quick and funny reply was, "He was having his photo taken with me." I fell over laughing!
