Slice of Life Challenge | Day 6

As a teacher and avid reader, I love looking for secondhand books at Guy's Frenchys. I stopped in today and found more treasures! It's how I fill my classroom library (and home) with books. The merchandise comes from across the border and sometimes I think I have landed in the boxes of a retired American teacher. What finds!

  1. Finding "new" books to share in our rooms is always such fun. I often browse the section in our town's public library where they sell used books donated by others. About a year ago I found a signed copy of Indian in the Cupboard, a favorite.

  2. I hit the second hand shops regular to look for books. Another summer stop are yard sales. Seems like many parents get rid of books that have only been read one time. I also have Boys in the Boat but have not read it yet.

  7. I love used bookstores! Always a treasure to find. I use rummage sales and the Goodwill store to find titles for my students as well.
There is a new used bookstore that just opened near me...it will be dangerous for me to enter! I will anyway!
