Yesterday was the Grade 8 Ceremony for Magnetic Hill School. The students enjoyed a beautiful evening with a dinner, ceremony and dance. It was heartwarming to watch each student receive certificates, nominations and awards. I noticed the way they encouraged each other. Ethan has grown up with wonderful classmates.
Ethan and Mikel were named the Male Athletes of the Year. He also received the Volleyball Award, Soccer Award (with Mikel, Braden and Woody) and Basketball Award (with Mikel).
Families really appreciate all the hard work that the staff put into the evening. I'm always amazed at how many teachers are present, even retired teachers. Our community has an extraordinary school!
