Quote | Dandelions

Measuring the full impact of influence is nearly impossible. When I was a little girl, I loved to pick the dandelions when they were fluffy and white. I'd blow, and hundreds of little helicopters would fly into the air. I tried to watch where they all went, but as they got caught in the breeze, many would blow higher and higher until they disappeared. Just like those seeds, influence often isn't noticed until it blossoms later in the garden of someone else's life. Our words and actions may land close to home, or they may be carried far and wide. - Pam Farrel
