Celebrate | Still Celebrate

http://www.ruthayreswrites.com/2015/10/the-best-is-celebration-celebrate-this.html

The news was not what we had hoped for on Tuesday.

But our God is still good.

We have hope and feel His strength.

He is our Helper.

And He helps us through others.

Within hours, we received an email from Glenda saying the family wanted to help us with anything we needed. I'm able to fly with Jim to Toronto for the surgery and treatment.

Mom and Dad came home from the cottage right away. Their help and a family dinner with my sister, brother-in-law and nephew meant so much. Lots of laughs and a delicious meal!

Heather, Patti, Lori and Signa took care of everything at school for the day.

Theresa called to let us know she was preparing meals for us.

Loving words given to us through visits, calls and messages.

Thankful.

We still celebrate.

We still do the normal (and find joy in it).

We still laugh.

We still have our wonderful family.

We still have each other. I will always remember that 5-person hug in the kitchen.

We still have a great, great God.

Can you still celebrate when the one you love has been diagnosed with cancer?

Yes.
