Slice of Life | Book Love

When I told my class I had a new book by Mo Willems,
they almost turned themselves inside out.
After I finished reading it, M came over,
took it out of my hands, and hugged it.

  1. Isn't Mo Willems the BEST!! I teach 5th grade and we LOVE him, too. We are NEVER to old to give his books a hug. I plan to share your SOL with my 11 year olds! They can connect.

  5. I, too, hug Mo Willems books ... and I have to ask! What new Mo Willems book? Waiting is Not Easy? (A new fave!) Or something else?

    1. The Elephant & Piggie books are all new to me this year! This one was "I'm Invited to a Party!" We are so love with all the books. I'm trying to collect them for my class as fast as I can! :0)

  7. I love this! Short, but oh so sweet. Nothing like expressing your love for a book through physical affection!

  9. There is absolutely nothing better in the whole entire world than sharing a great book with kids. What a privilege we have, to get to do this job!
P.S. I accidentally went to your other quote website first, and loved the most recent quote about responding to kids! My prayer for today! Thank you!
