Ethan graduated from Harrison Trimble High School today. He was awarded the St. Thomas University Entrance Award for Outstanding Scholar-Athlete at $10,000. It is funded by the Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation. He was also awarded the Joyce Family Foundation Entrance Bursary from STU at $1,000. Along with being the Varsity Soccer MVP, Ethan received one of the major awards from Trimble. He was given the School Spirit Award with his friend, Gabe.

Even with the pandemic, Trimble gave the graduates and their families a beautiful day. At their given time, graduates checked in and then entered the courtyard which had been lovingly upgraded with more shrubs and flowers. It was welcoming and lovely place to take photos. Each grad could have five family members join them for their ceremony. We followed Ethan into the side door of the auditorium and as he moved to the stage, we stood near the front seats. Just like a traditional ceremony, Ethan's name and accomplishments were announced as he walked across the stage for his diploma. (He just had to move his own tassel!) We were given time to take photos and there was a photographer and videographer present to capture moments for a video with speeches and highlights. As Ethan came down, he was given a Trimble bag with his yearbook and other memorabilia. When he walked out the other side and down the outside stairs, he was greeted by staff cheering. What a wonderful celebration!
