Slice of Life Challenge | Day 16

Route 126

Eliza and Ethan

At the end of January, there was an ice storm in New Brunswick. As we made our way to Bampie and Mammie's house the morning after, we saw many broken trees and power lines. More than 100,000 were without power.

It was a long seven days, but there were many good moments in the hard, like playing games by the oil lamp. Annie, who had power in her part of the city, even came to stay with us as she didn't want to miss out!

  1. I just checked for 'endings' & there you were! I've been in ice storms and they aren't fun, unless you're already there & can manage at home. It does seem that you had some good moments. Great pics!

  2. Finding positive in the power loss - not everyone is able to do that.

  3. I know the ice can be so devastating, but in your picture with Eliza and Ethan.... it's beautiful. I love that Annie came and stayed with you because she didn't want to miss anything. I think you should have ALL stayed with her since she had power! hahaha
