My Dearest Friend & Helper

To me, God is my dearest friend,

And I shall serve Him to the end;

I've failed Him many times I know,

But Christ to others I must show.

I've yielded yes my all in all,

Which seems to be so very small;

But by His help I'll understand,

As God doth lead me by the hand.
