When I was little, I loved going to the library.
I also loved playing library at home.
Our hall (a room at the top of the stairs that you pass through in an old house) had a wall of shelves filled with books so it was the perfect location.
I would tape paper with "due date" into the insides of my books.
An ironing board was my circulation desk.
