A month ago, on February 21, Global News came to the school to meet Pearl.
Originally, the segment was to be about animals in schools as PAW begins a guinea pig fostering program.
After meeting Pearl and hearing her story, the reporter, Shelley Steeves, said a segment needed to be all about Pearl. And that's what she did. On February 22, Pearl's life in school was in the news!
It brought mixed feelings for me, but Shelley was wonderful, Pearl shined and the class loved it!
