Something I want my children to remember
and their children to remember -
Bampie and Mammie Landers reach out to people every week.
They put homemade bread on a doorstep or give someone a handmade afghan.
It may be a basket of something Mom made or a box of something they collected, like books the person may enjoy reading.
It may be taking care of the weeds around a cottage or sending an envelope full of saved newspaper clippings that they thought the person would enjoy.
It is their intention every week to help others.
I want us to also remember -
No matter what we have (or don't have)
we can always help someone.
