I went to bed earlier than usual.
I woke up to go to the washroom.
As I walked by bedroom doors, I noticed lights.
I thought, "Why are they all up in the middle of the night?"
Then I looked at the time.
It was 11:00 pm.

Yes - been there! These last few weeks have been especially exhausting - full-time, in-person teaching - I drive home, make dinner, and fall into bed. No one can wake me!
You make me laugh! Did you return to sleep or join them for a late night rendezvous?
Yes. Been there. Kind of good to discover that there is more time to sleep.
