With the pandemic, summer jobs for university students were impacted. However, there has been more than one silver lining in the covid cloud for Annie! While she was blessed to be the one student Wawanesa hired back every year (and paid well), she was always restless for Friday and getting to Beulah by bus or car. This summer Annie is going to be able to live at Beulah!
While still looking for work back home, Annie went to Beulah wanting to help others. She started with walking about the cottages looking for folks who needed help with painting, cleaning, walking dogs and so on. She then learned she could be a part of a government program with Me to We which will help with tuition for volunteer work.
