I couldn't believe my eyes! A Hammond organ was posted on Marketplace!

Early Monday morning, I spent an hour or so messaging with the seller about the organ.

There were a couple of keys sticking and one broken, but he said it worked great.

He said we could go listen to it first. Dad, who was away, said to still get it.

I offered to drop off the money while we set up the time for lifters and a truck. He said he didn't want me to worry about dropping it off, but to wait. He said to just let him know when we could get there.

When I said I found help to go lift it out of the basement, he said he could also help and mentioned that he was in the Armed Forces.

We decided on the best time over the next couple of days, and he was willing to wait while I looked for a truck.

He was kind, chatty, accommodating.

He expressed his appreciation and even gave his cell number to me.

The next morning I texted to say that we rented a truck and confirmed the time we would be there.

I couldn't believe my eyes for the second time. He didn't keep his word and sold it to someone who offered him more money. No notification. No explanation. No apology.
