As Annie and I drove to Beulah, I noticed a mother duck with her ducklings lined up behind her. They were about to cross the highway in front of us. Before it was too late, they turned back towards the ditch. What struck me was how quickly the ducklings turned with their mother! When she saw danger and changed direction, they followed her without hesitation. It made me think about trust and knowing who (and Who) is safe to follow.
