The Porch Swing Experiment

1. Start a family.

2. Shortly after your first child is born, take a photo of her on the porch swing.

3. Take a photo of her (and the siblings that follow) on the porch swing at the same time each year.

For Amy Krouse Rosenthal, it was the Couch Experiment. As she shared the steps for it, she included,
"When your children are preteens, there will be nonsense complaints about doing the Couch Picture. Pay no attention. Proceed as normal."
And that is where my experiment went wrong. Darn it! When they hit the teen years, they started the nonsense complaints and going in different directions. We forgot to proceed as normal!
