Slice of Life | Dishes & Laundry

While we were in Toronto, Jim and I really enjoyed getting texts from the kids. We had, what is now called the "Fam Jam", a group text where we could talk to each other at the same time. Jim would send Good Morning and Goodnight messages. We would also touch base throughout the day. It was a blessing to stay connected this way.

We talked on the phone some too. One of the most interesting conversations was with our Eliza. It went something like this -

Me: How's it going, Eliza?

Eliza: Good.

Me: What's new? How's Mammie?

Eliza: Good. We take our laundry down at night, and our clothes are all clean for us in the morning. And there is never a dirty dish in the sink.

Yup, that was new!
