The end of August has been extremely hot here.
After days of heat, I was getting a little cranky trying to get things done before school started.
All in the living room one evening, we were talking about this and that in the coming year. I started to growl about something.
Annie said in a simple dry line, "Let's talk about this in the winter when it's cooler."
Made me laugh for days!
