Slice of Life | And then God...

Last week, Holley Gerth of Coffee for Your Heart
wrote a post that spoke deeply to my heart.

She wrote:

"One phrase changes every story:

And then God..."

There are so many times - small and big - when God has come through for us,
but my first thoughts went to my nephew, James.

James was going to die and then God saved him.

......................................................................................................................

When I first started a blog to join the Slice of Life community, I wrote about my nephew, James. On December 26, 2008, he was in a car accident. It was not believed by the medical team that James would survive and they spoke to my sister and brother-in-law about organ donations. Many things happened after that terrible accident and I had hoped to capture them in a journal. Five years later, I shared some of our journey here. I didn't post them as slices, but Tara Smith found them and encouraged me.

  4. 'And then God ...'

Praise Him that our stories don't stop when they reach their lowest point, that He is very much present and attuned to what we're going through.
