Slice of Life | Day 14

I'm usually up at 5, but this morning I had a headache and then slept too long.

I was rushing and trying to get out the door, knowing the roads would not be good after the storm.

I asked Ethan if he could get a couple of things for me downstairs.

He did it and then I noticed him take the time to get a water bottle and put some lemon in it like I usually do.

He went above and beyond.

Made me teary.

Kindness matters.

  3. I love how you "write" so much in such few words! You are right, kindness does matter, especially when it is from our children. You have taught him well!

  4. I have to tell you how much I enjoy reading your posts every day. You have the power of celebrating small moments and seemingly insignificant but gigantically important gestures and comments. I admire the simple complexity and complex simplicity of what you choose to write about. Wow.
