Slice of Life | Day 12

Easter Sunday
March 1967

Before I was born, my dad took this photo looking up the road from our house.
You can see the church steeple on the left hand side.

To me snowstorms are a gift any day of the week.
Everything is slower.
Everyone is home.

  1. As I sit in my bedroom listening to the rain and waiting for it to turn into sleet that messes up the school routine for tomorrow, I am very grateful for these words and I will be grateful for slowing down and enjoying the homeness of everyone! Thanks!

  2. Everything is slower --- yes! I think that's why we love a little snow storm every once in awhile. (Note: every once in awhile)
