Over the years, we always made our own valentines for school. Now at almost 16, 14 and 12, it's something we don't need to do anymore. I'm reminded of the book, Let Me Hold You Longer, about parents savoring the "lasts" as well as the "firsts".
Let me hold on longer, God, to every precious last.
