Over the years, we always made our own valentines for school.
Now at almost 16, 14 and 12, it's something we don't need to do anymore.
I'm reminded of the book, Let Me Hold You Longer, by Karen Kinsbury.
It is about parents savoring the "lasts" as well as the "firsts".
There's a line in it that says,
"Let me hold on longer, God, to every precious last."
