I'm usually up at 5, but this morning I had a headache and then slept too long.
I was rushing and trying to get out the door, knowing the roads would not be good after the storm.
I asked Ethan if he could get a couple of things for me downstairs.
He did it and then I noticed him take the time to get a water bottle and put some lemon in it like I usually do.
Made me teary.
Kindness matters.
Good for Ethan - and I hope you feel better.
ReplyDeleteI love how you "write" so much in such few words! You are right, kindness does matter, especially when it is from our children. You have taught him well!
ReplyDeleteI have to tell you how much I enjoy reading your posts every day. You have the power of celebrating small moments and seemingly insignificant but gigantically important gestures and comments. I admire the simple complexity and complex simplicity of what you choose to write about. Wow.
ReplyDeleteSo concise, yet so sweet! Kindness does matter and this is a nice reminder that even the smallest kindness can turn around someone's day.
